Transitional Living @ Easton Manor
In 2006, DVFPS opened a state of the art re-entry facility located on the ground of Bucks County Correctional Complex in Doylestown Township, PA. Located adjacent to Mathom House (a 32 bed secure residential adolescent treatment facility), Easton Manor was built to assist adjudicated sexual offenders in making a transition to independent living. Often, adjudicated sexual offenders are unable to return to their family or community of origin.
Easton Manor provides an alternative to simply releasing an adolescent to a largely unsupervised living situation such as a rooming house or apartment complex. Individuals in Easton Manor are required to continue therapeutic work on relapse prevention, stress management, victim reconciliation, as well as completing community service or paying restitution. The typical length of stay is six to nine months. Inquiries can be made by calling either Jay Deppeler or Dr. Don Tangora at 215-489-1036.
